Phantom Australian Labradoodles have a solid base colour with sharply defined markings of a second colour above each eye, on the sides of the muzzle, on the throat and forechest, or in a chin and forechest bow-tie pattern, as well as on all four legs and feet and beneath the tail. A phantom without clearly defined face markings, or presenting with the entire face in the second colour is also acceptable, as long as it maintains all other body markings. Phantom Australian Labradoodles are incredibly rare, they are probably the rarest colour in fact.
The phantom colours are so rare and unusual, but we have been fortunate enough to produce a few. We don’t have any phantom dogs in our programme and rely on recessive genes to produce them. As such, they are very few and far between!
